Orders at Servercow
Where can I order new services from Servercow?
If you do not yet have a customer account with us, the best way to order new products is through our website servercow.de. Once you find a product you like, select it and complete the ordering process through our customer portal. If you do not yet have an account, simply create one during the ordering process.
Already have an account? Perfect! Then you can order new services directly through the customer portal. Simply log in and select a service that interests you under the Orders
section.
Payments & Invoices¶
Payment Methods¶
What payment methods does Servercow support?
Currently, we only support two payment methods:
- PayPal (one-time payments or subscriptions)
- Direct bank transfer
PayPal Subscriptions¶
When you pay for a service via PayPal, you have the option to create a subscription from your payment. This has the advantage that PayPal will automatically debit your account when a service is renewed and the corresponding invoice is issued.
Warning
The PayPal subscription is NOT automatically canceled when a service is terminated. Unfortunately, this must be done manually by you. To cancel the subscription, please follow PayPal's official instructions: https://www.paypal.com/us/cshelp/article/what-is-an-automatic-payment-and-how-do-i-update-or-cancel-one-help240
If you DO NOT manually cancel the subscription, PayPal will continue to debit your money to us. Of course, we will refund any payments made.
SEPA Direct Debit¶
I would like to pay for my services via SEPA direct debit mandate. Is that possible?
Unfortunately, no! We are working on a way to finally offer SEPA direct debit for you. Unfortunately, there have been several setbacks in the past. However, we are still interested in making this option available to you!
Cancellation Periods¶
What is the cancellation period at Servercow?
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, a cancellation period of 1 month before the end of the term applies.
Warning
If you do not adhere to this cancellation period, the affected service will be extended for another term.
An early cancellation is then NOT possible!
Proportional Refunds¶
I have a package with a minimum contract term of at least 3 months but want to cancel early for reason XY and get a refund for the remaining term. Is that possible?
This is unfortunately not possible. For packages with a term longer than 1 month, there is no proportional refund. Once you decide to pay for a service in advance for a longer period, early termination with a resulting refund of the remaining term is excluded!
Of course, you can schedule the cancellation for this service to prevent renewal in time.
Special Terminations¶
In some cases, you are entitled to a special termination right.
These cases include, but are not limited to:
- Sudden price increase without your knowledge.
- Technical problems or disruptions that affect your business.
- Data loss after disruptions.
- Long periods of service unavailability.
- and others...
