Manual Mailserver configuration

Recommendation

For an optimal connection, we recommend using Mozilla Thunderbird or a fork thereof, as well as the eM Client.

You can connect to the mailcow Groupware using any email client or email application of your choice.

Ideally, your email client already supports configuration via Autoconfig or Autodiscover. If not, you can use the following data to configure your client or application:

Recommendation

The bold values are our recommended settings for your application/client.

Please use your full email address as the username and the PLAIN authentication method.

Warning

Your login credentials are not transmitted unencrypted despite the term "PLAIN" due to mandatory encryption.
