MX Record

The MX record for your domain is hosted.mailcow.de. The priority is not relevant in this case.

Configuration Example

For example, the MX record could be configured as follows:

yourdomain.com. 3600 IN MX 10 hosted.mailcow.de.

The number 10 represents the priority here, but any number can be used since it is not critical in this case.

Please note that the MX record is the minimum requirement for your domain to receive emails. Without this entry, incoming messages cannot be delivered, as the MX record specifies which mail server is responsible for your domain.

SPF and DKIM records are optional but strongly recommended, as they help confirm the authenticity of your outgoing emails and thus improve deliverability.
