Create Another FTP User

Based on these instructions

Please first follow the guide Log in as Web Hosting Administrator to proceed with this.

Depending on your plan, additional FTP subaccounts may be available. You can find the exact number in the service description on the Web Hosting Homepage.

Create an FTP Subaccount (Plesk)

1. Expand your domain in the Plesk portal (if it is collapsed).
2. Select the FTP option from the menu.
3. Click on Add FTP Account.
4. Enter the desired username under FTP Account Name, which you will use to log in later.
5. Choose the Home Directory as either / for the entire web space or a specific subdirectory, depending on your needs.
6. Set a password for the user or let one be generated. Then re-enter it for confirmation.
7. Click OK – done!

You can now log in to the web server with the created FTP user according to the guide FTP Access and upload or download files.
